Trinity Releases

Trinity OST

The official soundtrack of the mod was recently released on the GPS label. The OST in mp3 format comes complete with album art and playlist!

It’s great fantasy/game music. If you like that kind of stuff, give it a listen. I LOVE it. :)

Udpate v1.05

Text taken word-for-word from the Forum post:

"A new version of Trinity is now up on the Vault. Update 1.05 is a pretty big one : it fixes well over 25 miscellaneous issues.

By order of the President (Mr nice-"NEAT"-thugbert himself), Trinity now has in-game levelling and basic equipment purchasing. So if your character is below level 7, you will be given the option early in game to level him up and get a few gold pieces to buy starting equipment. (I've also tweaked the walkmesh a bit in a certain spot for you, Mr President. Hope you approve.)

Thank you to the 1500 people who downloaded Trinity thus far and to those who came back to leave feedback and issue reports. Since version 1.01 some 50-70 tweaks and fixes have been introduced thanks to you.

If you haven't played the game yet and plan to, then I certainly hope you have fun and that you'll let me know of your experience."

Next releases

I think I have the time now to assemble a Trinity custom assets pack. It will contain new placeables, VFX and cloak. Look for it soon.

And then what?

I’m liking my current modding vacation. Like I said I’m enjoying playing again: gearing up for the final encounter in Storm of Zehir (after going through all the new SoZ locations from the community add-on – some very good stuff in there! Got bored, again, with Fallout 3 (finished the “main” quest and am now slowly getting into some of the DLC stuff) and Assassin’s Creed 1; am nearing the end of BioShock 1 and have just received a cheap eBay copy of Resident Evil 4 for PC (never played these games but I hear this one’s pretty good), so might slowly get into that. DA:O is starting to beckon, but Mass Effect 2 will have to wait a while still (played ME1 pretty late actually).

And THEN what?

NWN2 or DA:O. We’ll see.

RE4 is great fun so long as you shut off your brain--there are some fantastic boss battles in there. But, again, don't think about it(IMO, the game is even making fun of its own story, but that's another issue). :p

Trinity OST is a blast. Edgen is nearly a God of some kind. The tracks do what they set out to do: define a scene, which is very nice.

Nice to hear you enjoy the new locations! Hopefully you can manage to beat the evil lurking in the Cape of the Wise Man. :)

And I think we all know that NWN2 beckons with a very friendly hand. Love your stuff so far, and I hope there's more to come!

Thanks CW! Shutting off the brain can be done!... as long as it doesn't get boring though.

Glad you're enjoying the soundtrack. Yeah, I wonder why Edgen is not SUPER-bigtime. He certainly is incredibly talented.

Cape of the Wise Man is... impossible :). But your other locations were excellent (though I would have been VERY upset if Darkmaw had actually destroyed my weapons.)

I figure Edgen is just biding his time or something--it's the only reasonable solution.

And Cape of the Wise Man *is* possible, but it was a nightmare for the testers. I should publish those PMs in a novelized form or something.

"Wait, there are 3 parts?!" :p

Glad you like it, btw

I, for one, hope that NWN2 beckons again, since building for it has finally gotten fun, and the possibilities are stunning.

DA:O might be a fun SP game but as a modding platform, it has so far to go and so many limitations ATM.

Here's hoping you stay around the NWN2 community.

I enjoyed Bioshock and am playing ME1 now. I also joined the party late with this one. ;)

Modding takes more time than I have to play though, so I know its fun to have a good play when you do get a break from it.

Lance.

Thanks Mokah! I'm thinking I might just like to start with a bit of DA to see what it's really like building for it, but my heart is admittedly still with NWN2. I disagree though that building is just now getting fun: I've had GREAT fun in the past 3 years! Though I admit that the prospect of no more patch-breaks and some cool stuff coming out of the community as we speak is giving our game a definite second-wind.

Lance: Enjoying playing when I can... but I feel the modding urge creep up again, though on a MUCH reduced scale!
